Laid Bare: The truth about being a sex worker in Australia

Ever wondered what it might be like being a sex worker or even a dominatrix? Seven News Australia’s Grounded team visited me at my dungeon in Sydney to learn more about my day to day, why I have chosen to be professional dominatrix for 23 years and unpack some of the misconceptions around sex work.

It is equally humbling and terrifying to be approached by the media to discuss my career in sex work. While there has been progress in breaking down some of the stigma surrounding sex work, there is still so much more that needs to be done in this space. I believe it is important to continue to raise awareness and use my voice where others can’t.

Dr P.G. Macioti of La Trobe University recently stated in a Sydney Morning Herald Article that “Only rights will stop wrongs” and I wholeheartedly believe this statement is the absolute truth of why sex worker rights needs to continue to be discussed in media.
